california lovin'

So I was trying to blog in the car while in Cali but m'sisters crazy driving kept me from doing so. So heres a brief of my activies while there Oct 29th-Nov 1st....

Day #1- Whale/Dolphin Watching
This very well may have been one of the best experiences of my life! Watching the hundreds of thousands of dolphins swimming was amazing...I couldnt believe my eyes, I even saw two dolphins mating, haha. It was awesome, to see mother nature unfolding before mine eyes :] I loved the boat ride and to feel the breeze and smell of ocean water. The girl were making fun of me b/c of how interested I was in these dolphins, but if YOU could have been there you would have been doing the same thing. IT WAS SOOOO COOL! ps- I hate flying!

Day # LA/Green Hair
My sister turned my hair green, but it only took us 3 tries to get it out ;) ha
While touring the wonderful city of LA we visited Kat Vondee's (sp?) tattoo shop, my mother and Sindi ofcourse had to take pictures by her awesome building. I went inside, yay me! We drove nearly from one side of LA across to the otherside, which was quite fun minus the 5 hours in the car. We had lunch at In-N-Out burger which was my 2nd time but i didnt remember it being that good! Delishness for only $2extraordinary. Went shopping in LA where i bought awesome t-shirts for Jader, sunglasses, bubble guns (which were confiscated at the OC air port), headbands, jewelry and much MUCH more! It was time well spent. We also went to Tito's Taco afterwards where I almost choked on my inchalada (darn them) but it was alright! Stripped the color outta my hair...its now blonde. ps- I hate flying!

Day #3 Church/Lunch at Cafe Rio
Paula got this wild idea that she wanted to go to Cafe Rio for lunch, so naturally we took her advice and headed to this eatery. Let me just tell you it was AWESOME, i know I just ordered a quesidilla but it was the best darn quesidilla EVERRR! :] We also went shopping and I bought much needed clothing, and rode on a Farris Wheel, which was cool at night b/c you could see all the city lights, pure awesomeness! Church was fun, met a lot of the people I always see in Paula's fb pictures, which was nice! We stayed up until about 11pm just talking and having a good time. Meanwhile, afterwards paula mom and sindi decided they wanted to stay up past 2:30am doing who knows what! I went to sleep like a good little girl! I had fun talking with Sindi this night, it was relaxing and fun. Oh man, how could I almost forget the dance party that we had....Gahhhh Paula got the fab idea to try and teach Sindi how do 'Dougie' ahahaha I dont know if I've laughed harder in my LIFE! Then next was the Stinky Leg, which Sindi misunderstood and kept calling it the "Sticky Leg" wow!

Day #4 Pedicure/YogurtLand
Sindi & I walked a half a block to Ralph's (California FredMeyer) to get some drinks/diet pepsi and YogurtLand since they were next to each other. While walking by Sindi noticed there was a nail salon right next to both so while she went and shopped I went to get a pedi (WHICH i had been asking to do since day one) tears filled my eyes [just kidding] but I sure was happy b/c my little piggies were aching and needed some attention, haha! No one wanted to get up before 12/noon so we hardly got to do anything this day, but we did happen to make it back to Cafe Rio for lunch, b/c was Sindi and Paula put it, "It was the best salad they had ever had and the pulled pork was AMAZING" my person opinion is that salad is nasty so I let them eat their hearts out, how nice of me right?! I was happy to get home to my boys, but not happy about flying. Dyed my hair for the final and last time..its now brown! Did I mention I hate flying?!

Paula Peralta, I will be back again soon thanks for the great time, love ya xo.

sick scooby

So I've been trying to make it a habit to blog atleast once a week about the crazy times that have been happening in my life. For this week here's whats happend so far......poor little Jayden has been sick going on 10 days now the whole nine yards of a cough congestion vomit fever all of that great stuff. He's now on his second round of antibiotics and they dont seem to be helping one bit, I sure hope he gets better before Halloween rolls around. On the other hand, we got his Halloween costume in the mail this last week. In a conversation Andrew had with Jayden he asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween and Jayden said a, "Puppy" so naturally this was what we went with, enjoy the pics.....

Pumpkin Patch 2010.....

This was Jaydens first year at the Pumpkin patch, the Country Merchantile pumpkin patch at that! He absolutely loved going through the hay maze with daddy and taking picture in the field. I love my little boy so much its truly hard to explain in words. He's one of the smartest 2 yr olds I know and I'm not just saying that because he's my son....He shows me something new everyday that hes learned through watching others and also trial and error... Anyways here are some pictures from the Pumpkin Patch 2010

50.

Happy 50th birthday to one of the greatest men I've ever known...my father! The girls of the family decided to throw him a suprise birthday party with wonderful friends & family, but the real suprises were that his brother (Uncle Guy)and SIL Aunt Mona flew from Texas to be at the festivities, as well as Paula flying in from Cali and sleeping in my parents house for 2 days witout my dad knowing about it. Now I know most people who know my father know him as a some what tough guy, but all bets were on that he'd cry when he saw his brother and sister-in-law. For those of us who really know him, he's just a soft teddy bear and couldnt hurt a fly. Tell me, do you think he cried?! Well, not only did he cry but he was as suprised as ever...i love this man and I'm glad to call him Pops'

Here are a few photos from the party, enjoy....

...3 months

Its been exactly three months since Drew & I "tied the knot"
For the last two months I've sent text messages to Andrew saying "happy one month anniversary" ... but this time i remembered two day in advance but totally forgot on the 3rd. Ha When my hubby called and said I wanna take you to dinner it didnt register at that point either, and then when I got home he had flowers waiting for me :) talk about suprised. I love my husband..and honestly didnt think he had it in his to be 'spontaneous' but boy did he fool me..

Its all about the little things!! They mean the most to me..I'm so in love! <3

Zayne Fernandez...

....baby Zayne Fernandez was born 11:03 am on Monday December 7th. He weighed 8 lbs [exactly] and was 21'' long. He is a beautiful baby boy! Ashley did awesome during delivery & when she felt like giving up she pushed on through the pain. Helping during childbirth is a very different experience, then having a baby. I'm very grateful that Carlos & Ashley let me share this experience with them. She had an awesome support team consisting of Carlos, Brenda, myself , & Carlos's Mom. She had great nurses as well. From the first experience we had there we weren't happy, but things fell into place and she had 3 great nurses and a good doctor as well. The experience is unforgettable!! They both are going to be the best parents to that little guy!! Welcome to the world Zayne <3>
